The role, in plain language

If you're a new grad worried about a commission-only ramp, or an established DC ready for a change — this role is structured for you. We pay you a real salary while you build. The practice is already busy. Your job is to take care of people, not to find them.

$

A real salary

$110,000+ base, paid bi-weekly. Negotiable upward for an experienced DC whose history justifies it.

Already-busy practice

You won't be hunting for new patients. The existing patient base is the reason we're hiring. You walk in, you have a full schedule, you build your hands fast.

Mentorship that's real

Direct mentorship from Dr. Tina Krell, who built and scaled a 35-person multi-office chiropractic practice in Prince George before joining Quesnel. Case rounds, clinical guidance, business education.

Relocation support

Optional for the right grad or experienced DC. We can structure housing search help, community introductions, and family transition support as part of the package.

Licensing covered

We handle your first year's CCHPBC registration, malpractice, and CCA dues. For out-of-province and international grads, we'll assist you with the licensing-transition hassle — we've done this many times.

Partnership path

The conversation re-opens at the 24-month mark with a defined formula attached to your offer letter. If we both want it, you have a real future here — not just a job.

Who you'd be working alongside

Mentorship isn't a buzzword here. Dr. Tina Krell has built the kind of practice most chiropractors only read about — and she's actively committed to bringing the next generation up.

Clinic Owner · Senior DC · Mentor

Dr. Tina Krell, DC

Dr. Krell earned her Doctor of Chiropractic in 2009 and went on to build a thriving multi-office chiropractic practice in Prince George BC, growing it to a team of 35 professionals before selling the business in 2023. She brings real operational, clinical, and business depth to the team — the kind of mentor a new grad would build a career around.

Her clinical focus is personalized, family-friendly care across the full age range, with a holistic approach that respects evidence and respects patients. She incorporates natural and holistic living principles into the practice culture, and she's known in the Quesnel community as a trusted, no-nonsense practitioner who shows up for her patients.

Who this role is built for

Four candidate profiles we have in mind. If you see yourself in one of these, we want to talk.

The new grad who wants security

0–3 years out of CMCC, UQTR, Palmer, Logan, Life, or a similar program. Nervous about an eat-what-you-kill associate deal. Wants a salary floor plus heavy volume to build their hands fast.

The rural / Prairie DC ready for a change

Already practicing in a smaller community. Comfortable with small-town life but stuck on a comp structure that doesn't reflect your value. We pay a real salary.

The BC-roots expat

Grew up in Prince George, Williams Lake, Kamloops, the Okanagan, or somewhere in the BC interior. You went to school elsewhere. You've been quietly wanting to come home.

The international grad

You finished at Palmer, Logan, Life, NUHS, Parker, Macquarie, RMIT, AECC, or similar. You need CCEB and CCHPBC. We cover the costs and help you navigate the paperwork.

Quesnel — your new home

A real Cariboo town of about 10,000 people — and the service hub for a trading area of 23,000 across the wider region. Not a resort and not a Vancouver suburb. It's where you can actually own a detached house, know your patients by name, and walk out your back door into the kind of outdoors most Canadians have to drive five hours to find.

Bowron Lake Provincial Park — the Cariboo, 90 minutes from Quesnel
The Cariboo — Bowron Lake Provincial Park is 90 minutes from town.
  • $361K
Median home listing price. Average detached house is ~$563K. The Vancouver / Toronto / Victoria detached-house problem doesn't exist here.
  • 32% less
Cost of living vs. BC average. 16% lower than the Canadian average. Your $110K salary actually means something here.
  • Year-round
Bowron Lake canoe circuit. Cariboo lake fishing. Mountain biking on Dragon Mountain. Cross-country skiing, sledding, hunting. Real four-season culture, 30 minutes or less from your front door.
  • 5 km
Riverfront Trail. Walk, bike, or jog along the Quesnel River right through the middle of town.
  • 10,000
Town population. You become the chiropractor, not one of two hundred in a city. Your patients are also your neighbours.
  • ~23,000
Trading area. The wider Cariboo catchment Quesnel serves. With only two practising chiropractors in town today, you'd be stepping into one of the highest patient-to-chiropractor ratios anywhere in BC.
  • ~90 min
Drive to Prince George. Regional hub, airport, university, hospital. Vancouver is an 8-hour drive or a quick flight.
370 Kinchant Street — in the heart of Quesnel.

About Two Rivers Wellness

An established chiropractic clinic in the heart of Quesnel. Our core practice is personalized chiropractic care — tailored adjustments, evidence-based assessment, and an approach that respects patients' time and preferences. We also offer custom 3D-printed orthotics as a separate in-house service.

Our patient base spans the full age range — kids, athletes, working adults, retirees, and the long-term wellness patients who trust us with their families. Caseload is mixed: acute care, MVA, sports, postural and chronic pain, pediatric, and wellness.

The team is collegial. The front-office systems work. The practice is intentionally structured so the clinicians do clinical work — not admin.

Frequently asked questions

The honest answers, before you ask.

I'm a new grad — will I really be busy from week one?

Yes. The practice is already established and busy enough that we're hiring specifically to absorb overflow. Your schedule fills quickly. That's also why we can guarantee a salary floor — we know the patient volume is there.

I'm an out-of-province or international grad. How does licensing work?

BC's regulator is the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC (CCHPBC). If you're already registered in another Canadian province, you can usually transfer without redoing CCEB. International grads (US, Australia, UK) need to complete CCEB written and OSCE exams on their own. What we cover for you in year one: CCHPBC registration, CCPA malpractice, and CCA dues. For out-of-province and international grads, we'll help you navigate the licensing-transition hassle — we've done this many times.

What does the partnership path actually look like?

We re-open the conversation at the 24-month mark, and the formal offer letter spells out the formula. We're not asking you to take this on faith — there's a defined production-share or equity buy-in path with real numbers attached.

I have a partner or family. How do you support relocation?

We take this seriously because we know it's the part most people get vague answers on. We'll help your partner connect with the local employment picture (Quesnel has a real economy beyond healthcare — forestry, mining, trades, services, education), and we'll plug your family into community, schools, and the things that make a place feel like home. Tell us about them on the call and we'll get specific.

I'm comfortable in a city. Won't Quesnel be too small?

Honest answer: it depends on what you actually want. If you need 24-hour delivery, fifty-restaurant options, and big-city anonymity, Quesnel isn't for you. If you want to actually own a house, walk five minutes to work, be known in your community, and have the wilderness as a daily backdrop, this is exactly the move. We'd rather you say no than say yes and bounce in 18 months.

What about flexibility — locum, part-time, parental leave timing?

This posting is for a full-time associate, but if you're a strong candidate who needs a different shape — locum first, four-day week, parental leave timing — we want to hear it. We'd rather flex the role for the right person than not have a conversation.

How fast can this move?

From application to offer, typically 2–4 weeks of conversations. From offer to start date, we work backward from your licensing situation (usually 4–12 weeks). When we find the right fit, we move.

Apply — or just start a conversation

No formal CV required to start. A short note about who you are and where you're at is enough. We'll take it from there.

Or just email directly: [email protected]
